Once we got back to the hotel we headed for the swimming pool.  We were the only ones in it, it had a lovely jacuzzi area in the side of the pool and was only 4 feet deep at its deepest.

Once we got back to our room I called my boys on Skype which was so lovely made me cry as I miss them so much.

We had promised ourselves an early night as had to pack and we were very tired from the night before.  We headed into Chinatown to one of Katie’s favourite bars – Reggae Bar and had 2 cocktails each and some chips.  It was a lot more slow paced and less people than the salsa bar the night before which was great.

I had been told while I was in Malaysia I must try Durian fruit which katie thought was funny.  The smell is awful but I promised myself I would try it.  To my surprise it did not taste like it smelt – you can even request plastic gloves to eat it – it is that bad !!!  But it was very creamy and not bad tasting at all.

Katie wanted to see her friend at the salsa bar so we headed over there for 1 drink – which turned into 1 beer and 3 tequila shots – oops -and very sore feet from dancing all night – we left at 2.45am.
