Malaysia and Cambodia

Daily updates from 10th March 2016 (internet permitting)

As many of you who are reading this will be aware on the 10th March to 21st March 2016 I will be travelling to Kuala Lumpur and onto Cambodia on a trip of a lifetime with my old friend Katie. We have been friends for nearly 40 years (yes we are that old Katie), we grew up in the same village and in the same house most of the time. We slept in tents in my dads back garden during the summer months always upsetting dad when the grass went yellow but having a brilliant time until the ear-wigs congregated in the top of the tent or Katie told me that a mad axe murderer would kill us in our sleep !!! We made mud pies and climbed and fell out of trees but always being like sisters.

In recent years we have not managed to spend much time together due to being in different countries most of the time, but now we are going to make up for it.

For 6 nights we will be staying at a beautiful hotel in Siem Reap, very close to Ankor Wat famous temples and doing other day trips to Linga River carvings and other exciting places
