We rushed back from our snorkelling so we could go walking on the island. It became a bit of an on going joke with dad that due to my job being a breast feeding peer supporter there were a lot of sea lions breast feeding that might need some help.

There were quite a few mother sea lions feeding their babies the youngest of which we were told was about 2 weeks old it was so cute.

Rabida island is very red due to the large amount of iron content in the lava, we saw lots of tall cacti trees, blue footed boobies diving catching fish just like gannets did on my Scottish trip.
We then headed in land, on the path was a large tree with a juvenile Galapagos hawk just sitting there amazingly close.

The amount of cacti trees was amazing, we also saw wild tomatoes and lots of birds.

That evening we had some more lovely wine and the chef had changed our meal plan, while we had been walking the boat had come across a small fishing boat catching lobsters, they catch the lobsters by hand and not in lobster pots, they bought about 20 from them they were absolutely delicious.
