After a long day temple site seeing we headed to the pool to cool off.
Our room is the one with my red top and yellow shirt over balcony.
About 7pm we headed into Siem Reap for food and to find the lady who had given me such a great leg massage yesterday. The prices of the food on pub street were ridiculously expensive aimed at tourists so we headed to some of the other streets where the food was half the price. We looked at the menu below in this restaurant but decided against it due to types of food available
We walked further down the same street and Katie was especially drawn to the $o,50 per beer at this restaurant on this sign outside :
We thought the board was having a joke but they were deadly serious as a lot of the restaurants serve alternative meat to what they say on the menu!!
So Katie had the $0,50 Cambodia beer and I had a $2 pina colada, I went safe again with food having chicken and cashew nuts but wished I had gone for Katie’s chicken and coconut curry soup it was lovely
We could not find the shop that gave the great massage as it looked so different all lit up at night but we resorted to a different shop which advertised half leg, shoulder, hand, arm, neck and head massage for $5 (£3.50) for 1 hour !!
The lads we had were amazing – Katie complained her guy was a bit rough and hurt her but made her laugh too as she was ticklish – he is the one in pink on the left of Katie – my guy was great – a great deep tissue massage and I felt so relaxed at the end nearly fell asleep – perfect. Me and Katie got told off for talking as the boss lady – who kept falling asleep – was directly sat behind us. We will definitely be going back again this week.
